“Why get a Personal Trainer? Part 2”
In https://ironbywood.com/2024/01/25/why-get-a-personal-trainer-part-1/, I said some Fitness Professionals would be sharing the value of personal training.
How it can help you in everyday life and longevity.

“Three reasons someone would get a personal trainer:
1. They tried working out on their own and either got hurt or saw no results. There really is no tutorial about how to work out, so with that said, people are going in randomly to a gym and mimicking what they’ve seen others do, without the context of doing it right or not.
2. They started a training program with all good intentions, but yet they didn’t have the motivation drive to continue. This is probably one of the most common reasons. Ideally, the perfect exercise program has a lot of variety, the more you challenge, your body, the more changes. For the person, they don’t have that creativity, and all of a sudden the workouts become boring and ineffective
3. They travel too much and cannot stay consistent. With this, virtual training has taken over. I will train a client one day in Florida, and the next in Peru, all virtually. My client never skips a beat, and I don’t have to make drastic changes to my schedule either, it’s a win-win.”

“The benefits of personal training are numerous. If I had to boil it down to my top 3, I would say:
1. Execution – Research indicates people are 50% more likely to follow through on a task when it is scheduled – fee based appts only increase the percentage.
2. Accountability – Having a trainer/online coach helps build commitment to workouts (with and without supervision), but also lifestyle habits that promote positive outcomes.
3. Results – Having trainer/online coach alongside helps to navigate the way safely and sustainably.”

“Why hire a personal trainer??
Why Hiring a Personal Trainer Is Essential for Your Fitness Journey
If you find yourself unhappy with your body composition or how you look in the mirror, it’s time to take action. There’s an array of highly educated, knowledgeable, and experienced personal trainers out there who specialize in health, fitness, nutrition, and overall wellness. Trust me, finding the right trainer can make a world of difference.
Nutrition: The Key to Unlocking Your Best Shape
You’ve probably heard it before, but it bears repeating: you can’t outwork a poor diet. A personal trainer who understands the power of nutrition can help you shed that stubborn body fat and achieve sustainable results. Look for someone who knows all about macronutrients and how they impact different stages and circumstances of life. Don’t be fooled by appearances or social media hype – ask the right questions during your search.
Unleash Your Potential with the Right Program
When choosing a trainer, it’s crucial to ensure their program aligns with your needs. Do they provide customized nutrition plans that fit into your busy lifestyle? Can they offer virtual or in-person training? How do they assess progress and tailor the program to your specific goals? These are the questions you need to ask.
Get the Support and Accountability You Deserve
One of the greatest benefits of having a personal trainer is the unwavering support they offer throughout your entire journey. Regular check-ins, progress tracking, phone calls – these are all part of the comprehensive support system they provide. With a trainer by your side, you’ll stay on track and push past any obstacles that come your way. Their availability and willingness to address your questions are truly invaluable.
Learn the Art of Strength Training for a Better You
If you’ve never dabbled in strength training but know deep down that it can transform your life, a personal trainer is your guiding light. They’ll teach you proper technique, be patient with your progress, and help you navigate the world of strength training equipment. You’ll gain the confidence to balance strength with mobility and flexibility, creating a program that you’ll genuinely enjoy and benefit from.
Overcome Obstacles and Find Consistency
We all struggle with discipline at times. Whether it’s eliminating unhealthy habits, hitting that snooze button, or incorporating self-care practices, a personal trainer or health and wellness coach can simplify the process. They’ll provide guidance, support, and the much-needed encouragement every step of the way.
Remember, your health and fitness journey is worth investing in. By entrusting a personal trainer with your goals, you’re taking a powerful step toward a healthier, happier you. So, what are you waiting for? Embrace the support, unleash your potential, and conquer your fitness goals with the help of a personal trainer!”

I wanted to add some additional thoughts from Coach Stacy Wig to think on
“You do not have much or any experience with strength training and know that you would benefit greatly by incorporating it into your life for stress relief, bone density benefits, improved functionality, and more.
A good personal trainer will teach you proper technique, be patient with the process, and carefully assess progression so that you learn how to navigate strength training equipment, how to balance strength with mobility and flexibility, and create a program that allows you to train safely and effectively on your own in a way that you enjoy.
You lack the discipline to do what you know you need to do to reach your health, fitness, and nutrition goals.
Maybe you actually know that it’s the alcohol consumption or snacking or food choices that are keeping you from losing the weight, yet you cannot seem to abolish those habits on your own. Maybe you KNOW that you feel so much better when you workout yet, you hit the snooze each morning and roll back over. Maybe you understand the benefits of meditation, yoga, journaling, and other self-care practices but how do you fit those into your busy life and stay consistent?? A personal trainer or health and wellness coach can address all of these challenges and simplify the process while providing guidance, support, and ENCOURAGEMENT…EVERY STEP OF THE WAY!!”
In conclusion Coach Adita, Coach Derek and Coach Stacy have showed a lot of reasons to get personal training and its value to you health.
It is my hope that this article encourages you to reach out to a Fitness Professional today. To either start a routine, restart or revamp the routine you are currently doing.
