Movement, faulty movement patterns, injury, and recovery.
I’m blessed to be in a low population area, under 10,000 people. But recently, a 4th rehab place has opened up. We have the hospital and 3 others.
So I’m thinking to myself. How can a 4th rehab place open up in a small town?
This is what’s comes to my mind (Aside from the injuries, accidents and events that happen to us that we can’t control)
- People do not know how to move properly. Meaning squat, bend, twist, and so forth
- Injuries, from not knowing how to move properly
- Since people don’t know how to move properly. Certain muscle may be tight or loose when they shouldn’t be, as well as muscular imbalances. Certain muscles may be too strong, thus pulling a joint in a certain direction it shouldn’t
- People are not exercising. Thus, people are out of shape
- Physical situations from chronic diseases. Stemming from lack of exercise and bad nutrition

In part 2 of “Movement, faulty movement patterns, injury and recovery.”
I have asked a few experts to share their observations on reasons why movement issues and injuries are occurring more.
